2025 Spelling Bee

WAYNEWOOD ELEMENTARY'S 2025 SPELLING BEE 

Waynewood’s annual Spelling Bee competition will be held on Thursday, February 6th, beginning at 6:00 PM. Please sign up to test your spelling skills! 

• The Junior Bee (Grades K-2) will take place in the Cafeteria
• The Senior Bee (Grades 3-6) will take place in the Gym

Registration is open from December 9, 2024 - January 27th, 2025.

The 2025 Study List will be shared with all registered participants by December 20th and upon registration thereafter.

Please note: In an effort to reduce the length of the overall event and get students and adults home at a reasonable hour, the Senior Bee will be starting with more difficult words this year. The words will still come from the provided Study List, but competition will start with higher difficulty words. The process for the Junior Bee will not change.
