Want to get even more involved in our PTA next year?

We are looking for volunteers to create new committees and fill existing committee chair positions for next year. If you are interested in Social Media or Marketing or have good computer skills, we can use your help with communications and the website. If you are interested in helping plan our Back to School events, we could use a small group to help coordinate those. Reach out to president@waynewoodpta.org for more information.

Teacher + Staff Appreciation Week

Appreciation Week is THIS WEEK starting Monday, May 6 to Friday May 10!

Thanks to your generosity and support, we're going to be able to treat our wonderful WWES staff and teachers to an amazing week of food and fun! Thank you so much to everyone who donated a gift card for our raffles - this is something that is always a big hit!

How can students participate?

"Thank you, Thursday" is on May 9! We are requesting students write thank you notes to their teachers and WWES staff notes of appreciation and deliver them on Thursday. We're hopeful this is something that everyone will feel they can join in for.

Last donation call - sodas and coffees:

The PTA is delivering room service to our rockstar staff on Monday Morning and would love your help to make the day a success! We need donations of individually canned or bottled iced coffee drinks and sodas! Thank you so much! Please drop beverage donations in the front office or 1115 Priscilla Lane before Monday!

Earth Day Assembly

On Earth Day we enjoyed a fun, interactive performance of ‘Mother Earth and Me’ by the Smithsonian Discovery Theater. We explored the origins of Earth, learned about the water cycle, and discovered important ways we can help protect the planet on Earth Day and everyday!

The PTA will use the funds & points obtained through the programs listed below to directly benefit our children & our school. The funds allow the PTA to provide a variety of things (field trips, assemblies, books, etc.), while the points help to purchase much needed supplies (for art, PE, classrooms, etc.).
